I want to do stand up comedy. I have about 10 minutes worth of jokes, but i don’t know where to do them. My family doesn’t like that kind of comedy (racist, sex, etc.) so i can’t tell my jokes to them.
So if anyone has any ideas for a 13 year old girl to become comedian please share.

I know movie rights can cost hundreds of dollars if you advertise it and show it in a non-residence. Could I advertise and show stand-up?

I like the movies The Original Kings of Comedy, and Eddie Murphy Raw, and Richard Pryor live in concert,.. Those movies are so funny. Also what is your favorite skit in your favorite stand up comedy movie
Give more details.
And why do you like it???

Hey I am 20 years old, never done stand up comedy before but I want to try it. I can go to New York City anytime but how do I go on doing it? Do I have to pay money to do it? Are there open mic nights available? Thanks.

I am a fairly humorous person, and I do comedic improv at a local club. However anytime I try to sit down and think of some funny stand-up material my mind goes blank. Any suggestions?

I am interested in becoming a stand up comic and I’m looking for ways to refine my material, develop existing material, and work on execution of my jokes and stage presence. I’m looking for tips, websites, even people that could consult me.

People keep telling me that I’m to reserved, and as a result, I seem like I don’t have any personality. I’ve been told that dance and stand-up comedy classes will help me out in this area. Not only will it help me out, but it’ll also be fun participating in these types of classes. What do you think?

I’m looking at trying stand up comedy but i want to do it right, and have a good act prepared before I hit my first open mic night. Does anyone have any tips on delivery? Like the basics on inflection and how to structure a joke? Is there any material on the web about this? I haven’t found anything of substance yet. Many thanks
